Gerjon Kunst, CTO at RawWorks will be taking to the Keynote Theatre at the MSP Show and SITS NL, for the session ‘AI: State of the Union‘.

An expert on all things AI, Gerjon will look at the different types of AI and how it transforms businesses, as well as what’s to come in the near future, how to get started and how to be relevant in the coming age.

What’s your biggest career highlight?

Being awarded the MVP title for my work in the AI space. I felt really honoured to be given this award.

How did you get into the world of AI?

I’ve always been fascinated with making life easier for users of IT systems. But the interface for the user was always somewhat limited to flows or set choices in e.g. powerapps.

So when Generative AI came along there finally was an interface that could understand what the users wanted and could really help the users work smarter and faster.

What advice would you give someone starting out their career?

Choose your area of expertise but re-evaluate from time to time.

The IT landscape changes rapidly so what’s relevant today can be obsolete in the near future. So keep up to date with relevant market movements and developments and be prepared to change.

And of course adopt AI in your daily work as it helps you be more productive and it can help you spend less time doing repetitive/boring suff.

• The current state of AI (what is happening in the world of AI at the moment)
• AI use cases or demonstrations (some usecases we see at customers and why they succeed or don’t succeed)
• AI predictions (what are developments we need to keep an eye out for and how it can help you/your organisation)
• Future steps (what are the next steps to take to start using AI in your organisation)
